this year onl 3 forwards who played the full season had a higher average time on ice than him. the other 4 that you refer to had 53,48,36,58 games played. not really a fair sample size. not to mention every game that one of those players dont play (which is a lot of fucking games obviously) he moves up a spot in the line up, moving him closer to top 6.

shall we delve into the other seasons too or has my point been made? you cant always just look at one stat to try and prove a point.

he had 1:53 avg PP time per game this season. with your top guy being shultz having only 2:47 avg PP ice time. id say 1:53 is enough time to make a difference.

Philly is probably one of the least likely in that list other than Montreal. He specifically named cap strapped teams to make it difficult to trade him. I mean really, is PIT gonna trade for him and have four guys take up half their cap?

is it? we desperately need a top 6 winger to round out the top 6 and flyers arent nearly as tight as you think cap wise
we have like 6m capspace iirc and can ltir pronger for more + we have like 8 d men im assuming hextall moves some clearing even more space
and i really dont see couts or schenn wanting huge raises after next season raffl prob get a bigger raise then them if he plays like he did this season unless they break out really good

i still dont want him though
this umburger contract seriously fucks flyers so hard idk what hextall was thinking that cap space would be much more useful being spent on hartsy

Sweet. Really a great addition given Blashill's departure. Nelson seemed to work really well with the young guys.
