Bergevin said DD had a great season too. Convinced he's an idiot now too, or talking up DD to trade him. 40 points for first line center is worst in the league outside of the teams that intentionally tanked. Plekanec even outproduced him in a lesser offensive role. Even Tyler Ennis basically match DD's totals. Mikko Koivu basically only guy who had season as bad as DD and he was demoted for it and their fans want him given death penalty.

Bergevin is very charismatic. Definitely the best GM we've had in possibly ever at working the media. Habs media is a big circlejerk not to ruffle any feathers. Guys who ask real questions end up banned from press conferences. Even Tony Marinara sauce will talk mad shit on the radio then ask the same circlejerk questions when at pcs.
