No O.o I have to do a virginia safety and emissions inspection every year. During this year's inspection the found out the battery was bad along with all the other stuff.
It's a huge fine if I don't have an inspection sticker.

Yup. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad they do it... but now I'm kinda being forced into getting a new car in the next 15 days because that's when the "temporary sticker" expires and I'm not allowed to drive it even to get it fixed. Most people will get repairs in that time but it's just not worth the cost when I've been figuring I'll get a new car within the year anyway.

I've spent well over 10 grand this month alone it's worth it though, because I shouldn't need to buy furniture or a new car for several years now... no more ikea quality bullshit, solid mahogany and cherry and high quality bed frames/sofas/etc

LOL that's what I've been doing as well, pretty much buying everything I could need before I move in with the girlfriend
so we'll pay the rent, and not spend any money on furniture, books, etc. just regular spending nights out

Man, I've had way too much fun furniture hunting. I got this for $250, had to pay $50 to rent a truck and pick it up but still 300 dollars for a high quality dining set is not bad at all.
My sofa is getting delivered in 3-5 weeks, at that point I will have brand new:

Table
Sofa
Chair
Bed frame
Desk

they dont have the thing where if you put $500 in repairs to the car you get a 2 year temp thing?

It would take me a long time to list up what I've been buying for the past year, but I have 99% of everything minus furniture.
