It sucks , because when it comes down to it all that stuff is irrelevant. Mostly people are just over compensating for something they lack.

Yup. Most of these people don't have souls.

On a related note I'm getting to go on an alternative work schedule. So I'll soon work 9 hour days M-Thu, 8 hours on Friday and every other friday I get off. Plus I work from home every tuesday.

God I love this job. An extra hour a day is nothing and it's relatively meaningful work.

Sounds like a good schedule , I liked having Friday's off. Always took my classes mon-thurs

Fuck. I might be getting someone fired Procurement fucked up royally on one of my contracts... it was a simple mistake but it's a HUGE contract that has people from congress and budget interested........ and they're out for blood.

Not really sure what you're talking about, but sucks to be that guy.

We're trying to hire someone to do important stuff for us and someone screwed up so that it won't be done possibly until like 3 months after when we originally thought it would be done.. which happens, but since really important people were keeping track of it, this really wasn't something that could be fucked up on.
/e It's to the point that I wouldn't tell the deputy commissioner who needs to be fired, so she's demanding I forward all my emails to her so she can decide for herself. Put it this way - I'm not the one who's gonna get fired.

lol i guess. It's like breaking up with someone though, I really feel like there's something I could have done to prevent it since I was directly involved in it.
If I make that argument though my head's on the chopping block too lol. I basically told my director, "it takes two to tango, I gave the information and she received it incorrectly so I might be at fault here too." He told me to shut up and not say anything like that again.
