Would self-belief/confidence be different than fear of failure or is it basically the same thing?

Everyone is different. Being confidant yet failing and the fear of failure will effect people differently. You can achieve a level of confidence free of the fear of failure, which can be a primary contributor to it.

I see self belief and confidence as postive productive mechanisms . Where the fear of failure is a chaotic nature. As they may seem very similar id draw the line in differences between the extent of self sacrafice willing to be risked and how each trait handles failure mentally and emotionally.

Maybe its more about how you use those mechanisims rather than how different or indifferent they are.

"Police officials estimate that it would cost New York $500,000 a day, or $183 million a year, to guard Trump Tower, where first lady Melania Trump and son Barron Trump live"

500K a day for security? How many officers would it take to reach 500k in expenses. Somethign does not add up.

How many people are working? How is this even possible.

it's because it's new york, hotels are expensive

If the Pentagon secures rental space in Trump Tower — needed for when the president returns to New York — it could cost $1.5 million per year, according to the building's website.

That is a conflict of interest that I find disturbing.

Trump is rich and should allow the pentagon to secure space for free.

He is profiting from his position as a result of his presidency from this.

Similar concepts, having a fear of failure isnt necessarily a bad thing though. It gives you a perspective of how things could turn out, however if that fear of failure is preventing you from taking action then it certainly is an issue.

What exactly do you have such a huge 'fear of failure' of? Honestly, I've failed at lots of things in my life/career. They trick is to make sure you never repeat mistakes and learn from previous failures.

Melanie and their kid staying in NYC means double the work and the expenses to provide for their security. That he stands to make a couple of millions because transferring his kid to another school is too much of an inconvenience... lol.
