why didnt they just trade him at the deadline if that was the case? get a pick or something

They were in the playoffs almost the entire year. They had confidence they could do well. Then they shit the bed. :lol:

i guess
im just thinking there becoming an even lesser team to keep hamilton ...not a good situation to be in
they really need their guys to produce more or else there going to be a non playoff team with a salary right up to the cap unable to get better really

No they weren't. Took them like 30-40 games to get in a playoff spot. Then they were fighting Florida and ottawa down to the wire but it was never time to be confident for them.
