He's making an annoying sound because there's predators around. Probably an Hawk, Eagle, Falcon, maybe even someone's cat. Chipmunks won't bite, I got one who basically lives on my deck and he eats out of my hand and will crawl up if I let him.

Though I haven't seen him in awhile because a Bald Eagle moved into the neighbourhood and the only critters I have left are crows, large squirrels, masked bandits and the eagle. It's sad.

idk i think it might be a mating call or sumthin but w/e it is its annoying as fuck
and our neighbour across the street captured all the cats around here and brought then on the other side of the canal and now we got none around...
i think thats the reason we got the chipmunk tho we used to have a cat that semi lived under our shed

It's definitely him making a fuss over a predator nearby. There's probably a hawk or an falcon around that is scaring him.

Hour and a half maybe? Obviously a fraction of what my salary works out to, but still not too bad.

Explain further... What funds does it deposite it into? I've seen a similar site for BitCoins (if you've ever heard of them) but kinda lost interest because using bitcoins is difficult. I've actually been looking for a way to make a little extra money on weekends or whatever, and seeing how I can't find a job for evenings/weekends due to my current job this might fill a void...

It's amazon. It pays into a wallet controlled through your amazon account and they cut you a check whenever you want to cash out. Check goes to your home mailbox. It might start out slow at first, but I'm seeing that people who are really good can make 10-15 per hour at it on a regular basis. I found out about it at reddit.com/r/beermoney which is also a good place for a couple extra smaller income streams while you're looking.

And yes, I know wayyyyy too much about bitcoins. I would stay away from them. Far, far away. It's eventually gonna get busted by law enforcement for supporting criminal activity like silkroad.. assuming the market doesnt implode first since it's the best modern example of a speculative bubble.

Seems like a lot of work for not much of a payoff.

Well it depends on what you mean by a lot of work. It's mindless work that for the most part is 100% unskilled - taking surveys, transposing written word into electronic, etc. Stuff you barely need a high school education for. It's pretty comparable to what you would make in an hourly data entry which is a similar job of mindless typing and clicking, and data entry is usually unreliable temp work.

I can see the draw for people who are unemployed or need to make ends meet with a second income stream.

/e I'm not 100% sure it's available in canada though, someone might have to check... I had to put in my Social Security Number since amazon takes the appropriate income tax out so you don't have to worry about owing the IRS for what you make

I don't mean hard, I mean a lot of effort. It takes a lot of effort to get a drivers license, doesn't mean it's hard.

It just doesn't seem like a lot of money. Though I may be signing a different tune if my cynical attitude towards my own work keeps up. Fuckkkkkk.

Unskilled work tends to be more effort than skilled work to make the same amount of money. Everyone can do it so why pay for it? It wouldn't be appealing to someone like you or me as a regular thing.. but on a sick day with nothing better to do, sure I'll take a few surveys and make a few bucks.
There were some in there I'd even classify as fun, believe it or not. I did one where I had to pick a horse, then it would generate a winner at random - then the next screen had a big matrix of information i could reveal, and it asked me to only reveal as much as I needed to make my decision. Obviously a psychology/information problem type study for a university or something. Paid 50 cents base, with up to 25 cents bonus (if i picked right), and took me 2 minutes.

Oh I'm used to menial work. Menial work that pays significantly more mind you but I bet that's right up my alley. But yes not sure I'd want to.

Survey's can be fun time killers, but for some reason doing them to make money sort of loses it's luster.
