Shorter quest gameplay? How much did you guys complained act1 and 2 were so fucking loooong. The quest line is rich and its long when you're geared in a way you can't fly trough the diff. I think you guys have yet to get over the fact when a game comes out you're not gonna rape its latest difficulty that easy. Generic Stat Items? I see no difference at all compared to d2. What were you looking for? Str/Dex/Vit/Int/All res
D2 was shit at release. When it got all its players was at the expansion release. You're complaining the fact you have to revisit areas... That's what diablo series IS, if you don't like it I don't know what you are expecting. Those complaining about the grinding/farming and not finding shit must be the ones who never found anything actually and got mad. That's also all about diablo series. Find Items before everyone, get rich, find items, use them, find items. In 1 run I was able to find a crit-os-nat helm wich I sold for 80M. + a legendary ring and a barb ammy I have yet to sell but could sell for 6-7M. Everyone gets to find their goldmine items
You're right, the stats are the same as the BASIC stats in d2. Every item has the same chance of being good. There's no "I need valor, arreats, gf." It's "I need these spaulders with 5 extra strength." And even if d2 wasn't perfect when it came out, it was much more imaginative than d3. Not to mention it's been what, 12 years of learning for blizzard and they barely applied anything from d2's final product. 12 years ago I played d2 and I remember the stats, socketed items with gems, and everything except artisans and interactive environments like in d3. I don't see how this game is anything more than a dumbed down d2 that's "shinier." The quests overall are shorter. Act 1 and 2 were decent, 3 was meh and 4 is short. The only reason there's a guise of length is because you die so often which yes, is not so bad because that's diablo. But there is less content than even classic d2, probably because they focused on graphics and game mechanics that don't really do much aside from being bells and whistles.
I did find good items, and still have around 20m on d3 (from almost what, 2 months ago) I did finish the game and I do know when I'm bored as shit, so don't patronize me by saying otherwise and acting like that's an argument. I expect a little innovation in my games. D3 is an unfinished game that may eventually be fixed by patches, but until then it has no staying power and isn't worth my time. Yes I expect better from arguably the best rpg maker who has several long lasting rpgs to have learned from. If you think otherwise more power to you, you're probably the marrying type. But go fuck yourself if you're going to dismiss valid criticism as people being upset the game is hard or they're not finding items. Leave that kind of BS in the 4th grade where it belongs. That's like me saying your opinions on all things hockey are just because you're a butthurt flyers fan. Don't bothet replying to my posts if you're gonna spew that kind of ignorance and call it discussion.
