Winnipeg has an unfortunate situation I think lol. Pavelec wouldn't be my guy. But he turns it on right when we all write him off and plays well enough to keep his job. I think that justifys a change though. They should just get a stalwart and be done with the hooplah.

Canes in the market I'm sure too. But they have been trying to dump ward's contract. Not to mention semin's. They still can buyout though. I think ward could be a short term solution still if they beef up the roster.

I don't see the Jets going after a goalie. They can ride Pavelec for a season or so with the idea that Hutchinson may take over if he performs better, like he did now. They also have a very promising young goalie in Hellebuyck.

pavalec has 2 more seasons and at a 3.9 cap hit hes worth keeping around
if he plays good then bonus if he doesnt its not THAT big of a deal use him as the #2 for 2 seasons or something

hell at 3.9 cap hit and him being able to play really good he could prob even get traded if it comes down to it
