nope alot of the guys that speed run dont put skills into doges/evade/ what ever because they need the damage because they arnt farming gear.

this dude beat the game in hc in 9 and a half hours, thats nuts.


i been watching some of them speedrun in the afternoons when im with the boys, its funny most of the guys didnt play d2 growing up or w/e so theres some of the little tricks that are second nature to us that they dont know

omgomgomg completely forgot about PoE when I quit playing last time. I think there was only 4 acts previously when I played...

Cant wait to come back, need to buy a new PC first but soon TM

Very fun game, similar to Diablo 2 but a lot more vast in terms of skills and character builds. Takes a bit to learn but one of the few RPG games that has hooked me like D2.

Reason I quit was the end game eventually got stale, essentially you did 'maps' which was a cool concept but sometimes you'd run your map and not get another map from the instance which meant you had to either buy them or farm them in a low level area.

i played it for a bit but got frustrated when my HC died multiple times because my game crashed and/or lagged or some stupid bullsiht like that

When I played I didnt have any issues with dying really, but for whatever reason didnt run into much lag or desync. I know it was an issue earlier on, I imagine they've smoothed a lot of that kind of stuff out.

There's no more desync, they fixed that quite a while ago now. There's some frame issues once you get into late end game sometimes, especially if you're in like a party of 6 with tons of shit going off (I have a good rig so it's np for me)

Other than that I never have problems

I'm pumped, didnt realize they had 10 acts out now. Cant wait to get back into it

The 10 acts isn't out for a few months. I played a couple of the recent ladders, skipped 1, there's a 3 month ladder coming march 2 before the 10 acts are released

I probably will skip the upcoming ladder, take a break and comeback fresh for 3.0 release
