Tampa basically shut down the 2nd and 3rd line. Well deserved. Much better team.

McAvoy’s growth is a thing of beauty. Especially his skating and playmaking. But as he grows, Carlo took some steps back. Wtf happened with him? Im blaming Krug lol.

Bring back Nordy at 1 million. Great on the kill and probably the teams hardest worker. Great guy.
Same for Kuraly but he is always dealing with some injury....so they may not bother.

Bring Chara back if he wants to keep playing. Not too worried about the defense with the young lads we got.

Krug can walk. He is a 10+/10 on the PP and passing but I have had enough of his “defense”. Watch Krug on Tampa’s gw goal.....that did it for me. Easily should have been our puck lol.

Pls let Studnicka play over Kuhlman...

Keep Gryz on a Clifton type deal. Maybe a little more.

Re-sign Kase at all cost. Amazing all around player, minus the finishing like you said.

Rask I don’t care for. Never believed we had a real chance the moment he quit. I’m sure all Bruins fans thought the same thing...im sure that really impacted the locker room too.
Ill take cap over his availability. Fuck off.

As for DeBrusk....don’t want to lock him up long term. I know he is young but haven’t seen any growth from last year and really a ghost back to back playoffs outside of a game where he will show up or score some poke in goal....
Let him go and keep some flexibility.
Im prob alone on this one but that 2nd line was Kase and Krejci....with DeBrusk showing speed here and there...

No way to really know but it ended any real chance we had that's for sure.

Krug's lack of defense is super frustrating, can live without him and his soon to be large cap hit, he can't be making more than pastrnak bergy and Marchand. Gryz is good enough of a replacement, better defensively too. Maybe work McAvoy on the PP1 next season if Krug walks.

Debrusk is annoying af with his streaks, so inconsistent. I believe we can get him at a good price because of it which I would like. When he's on he's on, but that's like 25% of a year lmao

Wouldn't mind chara back as a part time player for around 1m

I expected him to be a consistent 25+ goal scorer in the league. I had hoped he'd be one of the big pieces to replace Anaheim's old core. Super curious to see if he stays in Boston or or not.

I hope we keep him, he's so close to being a 25+ goal scorer with ease, especially if he's playing with Krejci. He does everything else so well. Even without him scoring he's great to have

Bruins have about 15m to spend next year.
Krug for 6-7m in a heartbeat.
Chara 1 yr 1-2 m absolutely
Debrusk will not get good term or money. Look at what Carlo took. 2 yr 2.85 after already looking like a stud I say no chance Debrusk gets more than 2.85 and it will be a 2-3 year deal.
Gryz is a must resign anything under 3m. I’m also 90% sure he’s the player we lose in expansion draft assuming Krug stays and assuming lauzon doesn’t prove to more valuable by then.
Nordy for 1m is easy.

And I’m 50/50 if I think Rask will play in Boston again. For sure last year at close to 7m if he stays though

Keep Krejci for another year even tho he’s not worth 7.25, I assume he’ll give us cheap 1 yr deals after that until he’s done.
Love this some. Sucks to lose. Tampa was the better team this series but I don’t think there a way better team overall. GGs

I think that's just too much money for his terrible defense. Like Prone said, I wouldn't mind McAvoy on the PP after seeing his growth during the playoffs. He made more plays than most of the forwards

Able to play after that nasty hit. Hopefully a good sign....

But even Gryz like you mentioned bro...Give him Krugs' spot on the PP instead of paying someone 6.5 million for 3rd pairing level defense....

Gryz is the most underrated player on the team with ease to me, doesn't get enough recognition
Team struggles when he's out of the lineup
And he's always paired with the 6th dman which seems to rotate a lot

Gryz is getting more and more confident with making dangles, works 90% of the time

He is a bit turnover prone and does occasionally struggle defending size along the boards. No complaints aside from that.

Also, great point about how his partner is always rotating, so it’s even harder for him to build some chemistry or play at a consistent level.
Still doing his thang.

Risk it for the biscuit
Marchand and pastrnak forever turn the puck over, but when it works it's 🔥🔥

If gryz has backup behind him I have no problem with him trying to finesse

There was a lot of issues with this team against tamba, very low scoring and no Rask so it was doomed

I like Krug and what he brings, we need a deadly pp and puck mover, there are gaps on every team it’s more about coverage and positioning if anything

If he goes he goes but his scoring impact is always needed and there are at least a couple dozen teams that would be interested

Our core is aged and didn’t have it in the post season, our top guys didn’t score enough and that hurt the team as it relies heavily on their dominance to win

Agreed that Carlo doesn’t seem to be taking steps forward, but McAvoy looks better and better

Halak just didn’t have it in him to be old playoff god Halak and Rask just doesn’t have the mental fortitude to take this team where it needs to be I think. I’m a Rask fan but this was a huge let down, he should’ve had something to prove after choking on less than a half dozen shots to lose game 7 last year and he had no response

I want to see Chara play forever but I think his days are come to an end, I’m very curious to see where captaincy goes after he’s done.

Coyle and Kase are two very bright spots on our forward group

I think there will be a few hard years of the team is going to continue to rely on top line scoring

Carlo doesn’t seem to be taking steps forward?? What?? Carlo is the future shutdown D man on this team. Mcavoy is a 2way.

And if Chara does retire (I don’t expect him too) it’s EASILY bergy for Captain. Like 1000%.

Coyle yes, kase did some good things but I wouldn’t put them in the same category
