Was a good run boys, great season, disappointing playoff result. Tampa was clearly better, they deserved that series.
Chara <3

McAvoy has a legit shot at the Norris next season imo
If Studnicka can bulk up during this shortened off-season he may be a full time player, which I am hoping for. Very excited about him, reminds me of rookie Pastrnak but not as wowing.
Wonder who we're going to lose to Seattle's expansion draft
If Rask plans on retiring, I hope he tells management ahead of time so they can plan for free agency. I think he'll do one last season though
I think it's safe to say we have a secured 2nd line finally with Kase, assuming DeBrusk gets signed.

Got some key players to sign
DeBrusk (upside is pretty solid, his severe streakyness should help us sign him for cheaper)
Nordstrom (He was great this playoffs, give him a $1m/yr contract imo, good pker, body guy & blocks shots)
Krug (Not stressing this, don't mind if he stays or goes, anything under $6m/yr pls)
Chara (Assuming he's done, I hope he is, it's his time)
Gryzlyck (Sloppy game but he's the most underrated player on the team imo, very affordable too)
Miller (Let the poor dude go lol, needs to retire)

Kase (If leftover money, throw an extension on him at a good price before he explodes, he's so close to being a stud, he does everything but finish)
Extend Kuraly at a good price too if possible, Carlo maybe too with how he did in the playoffs, his value definitely dropped by it.

So is it safe to say Tuukka isn't welcome back next season? A potential cup winning year thrown away largely because of him. Boston was never gonna beat Tampa with Halak and everyone knew that. Could have it been different with Tuukka? Maybe, or maybe not, but we'll never know and many people are pissed off. I still think Tampa would have won the series regardless.

I would take him back with open arms, he gained my full respect with how dominant he was in last years playoffs
I supported him before last year anyways, but he was a freak last year lol

I think it would have been different with Tuukka. It's rough when Boston pumps 5 scoring chances and Vaseleivsky makes crazy saves, just for Tampa to skate up the ice and score a soft one on Halak, it's deflating for everyone busting their ass.

I’m still annoyed the Ducks moved on from Kase. He was consistently the only player worth watching every night. If the Bruins can extend him it could be big for them.

If they do I hope they do it this off-season before he takes the next step, he's sooooo close. If he can finish I could see him having a 40 goal season or 2
His backcheck is legit, speed, puck handling, aggressiveness. He's got it all minus the finishing ability lol

Tampa basically shut down the 2nd and 3rd line. Well deserved. Much better team.

McAvoy’s growth is a thing of beauty. Especially his skating and playmaking. But as he grows, Carlo took some steps back. Wtf happened with him? Im blaming Krug lol.

Bring back Nordy at 1 million. Great on the kill and probably the teams hardest worker. Great guy.
Same for Kuraly but he is always dealing with some injury....so they may not bother.

Bring Chara back if he wants to keep playing. Not too worried about the defense with the young lads we got.

Krug can walk. He is a 10+/10 on the PP and passing but I have had enough of his “defense”. Watch Krug on Tampa’s gw goal.....that did it for me. Easily should have been our puck lol.

Pls let Studnicka play over Kuhlman...

Keep Gryz on a Clifton type deal. Maybe a little more.

Re-sign Kase at all cost. Amazing all around player, minus the finishing like you said.

Rask I don’t care for. Never believed we had a real chance the moment he quit. I’m sure all Bruins fans thought the same thing...im sure that really impacted the locker room too.
Ill take cap over his availability. Fuck off.

As for DeBrusk....don’t want to lock him up long term. I know he is young but haven’t seen any growth from last year and really a ghost back to back playoffs outside of a game where he will show up or score some poke in goal....
Let him go and keep some flexibility.
Im prob alone on this one but that 2nd line was Kase and Krejci....with DeBrusk showing speed here and there...

No way to really know but it ended any real chance we had that's for sure.

I expected him to be a consistent 25+ goal scorer in the league. I had hoped he'd be one of the big pieces to replace Anaheim's old core. Super curious to see if he stays in Boston or or not.
