find a sacred with more block, more crit, life % or vita and str. a lot better. no real need for resists on shield

stormshield goes to 32% block. pretty damn beast if you ask me.

yeah but storm got horrible block dmg compared to sacred

if you have decent armor to begin with that will not matter so much. I guess everyone has different needs. But a barb with lots of str with a 32% block shield would certainly benefit more than a monk with dex. The original dr% from armour value would effect how important the block amount dmg was, so for barbs I think SS is wicked because when they block that much dmg blocked would not be as important as % chance to block seeing they are not taking that heavy damage to begin with when they are hit.

sacred with something like 26 block and 10 crit is beast. more dmg more survivability. def want to get that from the shield

This is true. Crit % on shields is the most important stat on shields. 10% is a massive bonus, seeing lots of people are stacking crit % / dmg to get the dps up real high. If you have 45% crit chance and 350% crit dmg you will be wrecking shit almost every other hit. SS can roll this mod though, but I would imagine it would be so damn expensive on an ss few could afford it.
