even eberle= simmonds eberle is damn good and skilled no doubt not bashing him but simmonds brings so much more then just points to the table

Couturier season hight is 39 points.. While he is good defensively he isn't the next Datsyuk or Toews..

Draisatl is a 3rd overall pick comming of a 53 points in 32 games season in the WHL and he's currently leading his team to the memorial cup.

I would take Couturier > him but to say he's clearly above Draisait in value is wrong.

Also, Edmonton will be > Philly in 2-3 years, and I hate the Oilers lol.

Draisaitl isn't as good as Couts right now, obviously, but as a prospect his value is high. Should turn out to be at least a good 2C like Couts is as long as he doesn't bust.

I'll take Nurse + Klefbom + Marincin + Schultz over Morin + Gostisbehere + Sanheim + Haag.

Like I said, the Flyers aren't that much ahead right now. Going forward, to me it's easy to argue that the Oilers have better forward and defense groups.

Yeah, Eberle is a career 65 points per season player on a dreadful team. I know Oilers fans shit on him a lot but his value is pretty close to Simmonds.

in 2-3 years oilers will still be drafting forwards like " why the fuck cant we win" while their d and goal tending blows
in 2-3 years flyers d prospects are prob in the nhl and flyers are a complete team and prob about to hit their prime

couts is also only 22 not like hes 26 and never developed offense
datsyuk had 35 51 68 pionts in his 1st 3 seasons bergeron 35 in his 1st kesler 23 36 59 75
not really sure where they were in the depth chart but couts is either 3c or 2c playing vs other teams top lines... the fact he put up 37p palying vs top lines is pretty solid and in better circumstances couts prob woulda set a new career high this year





look at him in the worlds even guys got like 3g2a or something on the 4th line with toffoli and eakins

I still like Eberle. He is a strong player to have on your roster and with Team Canada, we are seeing the opportunities he can produce.

Datsyuk in the same conversation as Couts.... here we go.

Yeah, I won't even go there. Datsyuk is a different level. And an entirely different type of player.

im not trying to compare im just saying those are like te to pdefensive guys and they didnt just start out getting 50-70 point rookie and sophmore seasons
couts is 22 hes got lots of time he gain that offensive touch but at 22 how good he is defensively is fuckin insane ..people forget hes only 22 becasue hes so good defensively and matched up vs top lines since he was like 18 19




dont forget flyers have 2 1st rounnders 2 2nds and 2 3rds in this years draft to really build up the prospect pool + next season we got a 3rd from the timo trade if hawks beat the ducks its a 2nd rounder
and idk if id take them over flyers prospects tbh morin is looking like one hell of a defensive d man sanheim is like a point per game in juniors as a d man clearing top scoring nhl d men numbers
ghost is great offensively too and not too bad defensively he did shut down johnny hockey in the frozen 4 and win player of the game and look at him now JH carried the flames hard this year
and oilers might add mcdavid this year but if flyes were to add like crouse or provorov ect ect ect + the other picks whos in the better situation then? flyers could end up with like 6 solid d prospects+ some forward ones oilers are nowhere near that


plus when it comes to pro scouting and bringing in euro/undrafted FA flyers bring in guys all the time raffl bellmare bob read they just signed some 21 or 22 year old d man too
