As much as I don't like the Sutter and Beagle contracts, it's obvious that not having them absorb tough minutes and zone starts has taken a toll on the rest of the roster.

Horvat has been especially fucked by it, 'cause he's out there for like every D-zone draw even if he just had a long shift and often plays with 3rd or 4th line wingers on a checking line instead of having someone like Bae flank him on a scoring line.

I would say with a full roster we would look much better (maybe not great, but better) but let's face, it's the Canucks lol we're never gonna have a healthy lineup.

Bo is a monster. Despite this fucked up schedule, he's replacing both sutter and beagle all while still providing offense with grinders. Elite af. I think I heard he took about 100 more face offs than anyone else in the league too. He's doing it all while being away from home, jetlag, etc. Rousells wife qq'd she only got to spend time with rousell once in the the 5 weeks due to the fucked up schedule.

Also Ya it's Lolnucks, won't matter even if we become 31st in league, we still won't get the top 3 pick.

Its also awesome to see someone exceeding beyond expectations. He was labeled 3c at best at the time and was traded for gg schneider... Hugeeee pressure. He absorbed all that with Vancouver media and "fans", now he's a 1c material. Good character, and always seem like every year he massively improves his weakness. Like skating was a huge issue, not anymore. faceoffs was a problem, not nemore. Scoring was an issue, not nemore. His 200ft game wasn't that great and was suppose to be utilized for offense only this year, but with sutter/beagle he's shining again.. Proving he's a good 200ft player. I wonder what he will improve on next year.. This kid has no limit Yeee captain

I can admit when I made a mistake.....

I was pissed when we drafted him. I wanted Nichushkin. I did not care if he had bust possibility. To me I wanted Vancouver to go for a guy who could be a 9/10 elite player vs a most likely 7/10 3rd line solid center with a max potential of average 2nd line with no potential to be a huge goal scorer.

To me he was a role player who was great defensively and worked hard. Not the kind of pedigree you want to see used in a top 10 pick. I never expected him to excel offensively as well.

Feels much more rewarding when you find gems throughout the draft and they turn into core stars. Instead of just winning the lottery or getting the next best pick in 2nd overall etc. u just assume they'll be gg for yearzz as expected. While pettersson, boeser, Horvat r a nice treat
