he seemed alright defensively when i watched the FLA/NJD Devils series. Not a superstar on D, but he can hold his own. I think if we put him with a more defensive minded d-man he will be very successful here. This guy will fit in perfect now that Sami is gone.

4.6 on such a long contract is a little stiff seeing he has had just the one strong year, but considering we did not have to trade anything to acquire a player of this caliber I can not complain.
