There is a difference, they did it on my first sharpen with dem new skates. Never again though, too much difference

Deeper blade you push off with ease but slow down at a faster rate

i dont understand the fighting aspect of hockey. if i was a hockey coach, id tell one of my players to pick a fight with opponents best player aka knock him out without suspension but a 2 minute penalty. in any other sport, fighting = suspension. yes fights are fun to watch, but adds 0 value to the actual game.

sry i mean i feel like with more bite i get more resistance with each stride so i do feel the fatigue quicker over the course of a game

with 5/8" i get more glide with less bite, but yeah i guess initial push off would be less acceleration

Exactly, so right now in the nhl half the ‘superstars’ are actors, who pretend to be good at hockey so they get targeted by the other team’s goons. Then the actually good hockey players pretend to be bad, much of the time, so they don’t get beat up as much. It’s all very confusing, but a lot like chess.
