Yeah apparently they just banned a whole pile of CD keys and accounts like 2 weeks ago. That leads me to believe they are working on improving Warden in order for it to be ready for D2 RM. Linking CD Keys to Accounts would also help with the botting because often accounts get banned first and CD Keys are only suspended, likely this means both accnt and CD Keys will be banned in D2 RM.

he said etal is working on a new version though so blizz is trying but it might not put an end to it
but yeah before the acc u ran it on would get banned and the key would get a 30 day then perma ban
my freind said he read accounts in that ban wave were ip bans but if they do that they will ban legit players if a bro or something runs it
the 1 key per account would eliminate that issue
