well i got rekt,

so last friday my gf and i were at richmond (this fobby asian city near van) to shop, but decided to go into Wind Mobile cuz i remembered i have a free hardware upgrade.
I asked the dude how much will i need to pay for s7 edge or note 5 to upgrade my hardware, he said none. It's free. I lol'd and said no dude really how much? He checked the comp or whatever and said i was eligible for them for free.
I told him uh ok, let me think about which phone i want then (note 5 or edge 7). Then later at home i checked my wind mobile page, says shit like $150 blahblah so it's not really free. Also called Wind Mobile branches closer to my area, they all pretty much confirmed what i assumed. So the dude in Richmond was either high af or was a rookie and was gonna straight up give me a free phone? lol
