Did everyone see that the Reebok Millionaires jerseys went on sale for $60/each? Amazing sale ... picked one up, should arrive next week

this is more of what I expected, though we're indeed a bit depleted and Bachman is looking rough.

Pretty much.

14 of 21? Games now on the road.

going home for 2 games then back on the road.

This schedule is just fucked.

Unless Pettersson or Horvat take over the game, this team has no hope of winning. PP is god awful. Wild sat 2 ppl on Pettersson all night and the other 4 on the ice could do nothing.

idk man i feel like canucks have some rough times ahead of us. i wish we could have like 1 more sick forward along the lines of petterson, horvat or besser. honestly like when i look at our roster i just see randoms. like during other eras it seemed like so many players felt like part of the team but when i think of goldoblin and leipsic and motte, delzoto, gudbranson, pooliot, barchi, i just think randoms no name brand players. i mean no offense to them they are highly skilled but i feel like they are total rands. we need more of petterson, horvat, besser, tanev, edler

canucks played the most road games already in the entire league, and the fact that they're not under .500 with all the regulars out, is still impressive. Other teams should never bitch about their schedules and just look at the canucks travel times and be rejuvenated from it jajaja. Vancouver always has the worst travel, since it's not close to any other cities (pls seattle cum) so new players like pettersson gotta get used to it. I mean, that's a lot of fortnite bans man. It's always hard to play on road cuz of time difference and less practice, especially with AHLers filling in for the regulars. Just be happy it's still an entertaining game win or loss, and none of the past willie type of game where even if they win, it feels so boring and unsatisfying and feels like a loss. Also at least Virtanen, Gudbranson and Hutton are playing extremely well compared to last year.
seems to me goldie experiment is almost over, he's just too inconsistent and non clutch. He got the most perfect opportunity for him to succeed and he's blowing it pretty bad. Now he's got no excuse for his poor performance. He's still a good player, but when you play a 1 dimensional game and can't produce, u're outtie. Teim for DAHLENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN experiment B)

Did not get a chance to watch the game due to a long day at work.

Glad to have come here to get some background info instead of just looking at the statsheet.

To comment on some things I read from you guys:

The schedule has always been atrocious for us. This year it seems we have it especially difficult.

A shit schedule + a multitude of key injuries. No real surprise this slide is continuing.

I still think the teams in the Metropolitan division have an unfair advantage.

No time zone change, extremely short travel, and they play each other alot because they are in the same division ofc. The NHL has stated they want to create rivalries.

Maybe that is part of it. I say it is more a cost cutting measure than anything else. Less travel expenses across the board with these changes. As a fan you want to see a greater variety of teams through an 82 game season.

If the course remains the same on this I strongly believe you will begin to see a disproportionate number of teams from the Metropolitan winning the cup or advancing to the SCF. The grind adds up and with the desire to create parity in the league every edge is magnified.

I am not surprised teams are doubling up on Petterson. The cat is out of the bag that he is really good and teams will adjust.

Look at the top lines in the league. They are not be carried by one player. It is a collective effort with relatively even weight distribution. If the play has to run through one guy it becomes significantly easier to counter.

Yes we are injured. However, overall there is too many passengers on this team.

As for Goldobin.... I don't want to give up on him yet. Usually I hate the one sided offensive players because I hate those who rest on talent and don't take it to the next level with a tenacious worth ethic.

However I see improvement with Goldobin. He does not float as often as he once did. I think he is getting better. He backchecks with a bit more effort, he just is not that good at it. I think that can change though.

When he has the puck he does make good plays. His passing is underrated, however there have been bad turnovers as well.

He has had some bad luck with posts/crossbars etc and I feel with the chances he has gotten he should have more goals. He is creative with the puck. What needs work is his ability away from the puck.

In a project year I think he should be given some more time. If he cant figure it out by then, cut him lose. He has well above average talent, so I would rather not see it go to waste due to other shortcomings.

the schedule should balance out at least, cuz in the end there should be same amount of road and home games right?
lolnucks already played a lot of road games, so towards the end they should have a ton of home games left. Let's just hope by that time, everyone is healthy.
Pettersson is doing well despite being ganged up, but the players around him cant seem to capitalize his nice passes. Either wide or hits post RIP.
Nobody will be back from injury against the habs either RIP
