That Batman trilogy reboot is probably the gold standard for Superhero movies, even though I thought the 3rd one was a bit of a letdown.

That's an opinion lol. Marvel movies objectively get great reviews and very good audience scores. That means they're not shit.

I am very bias against superhero movies in general but when i was a kid spiderman was my shit so if anything i have a marvel bias.

Also this is all opinions, ratings are just a composite of many opinions..

Guardians and Dead Pool for one.

Agree, Dark Knight is brilliant. Everything else is bullshit as far as the latest vapid superhero garbage trend goes. Deadpool deceived me, was just more of the same junk, but with the occasional dick joke.

i cant say i saw gaurdians but dead pool was entertaining, i watched it on an airplane, great airplane movie.

it was a longshot from a quality film though. Both (i am assuming for guardians) made their mark by being comedies primarily, which is fine but as SP points out toilet sex humor don't rate as a great movie for me.

IMDB has dark night as the #4 movie of all time, sharing a 8.9 with the likes of pulp fiction, 12 angry men and Schindlers list
