With the success of vancouver id be surprised if we didnt host winter olympics every 2 or 3 go arounds..

Quebec and Calgary were having discussions about a joint bid for the 2026 Olympics. Basically Quebec wanted all of the ceremonies, to be the official host, but Calgary would host all the events and pay for all the new facilities, etc. Calgary said lol no.

too bad, might have made calgary relevant.

maybe its just me, but is any one actually even interested in summer olympics?

personally i could give a shit less about them.

i just looked at the list of sports, and the only ones i would like make a point to watch is MAYBE water polo and downhill mtn biking.

im sure ill end up watching some other events but just in passing

Usually I'll check out track sports, and sometimes the rowing. I'm not a huge fan or anything though. I'll probably watch golf

Anyone got fucked up and needed stitches on the forehead?

I've been using polysporin, and took the stitches out today. Seems a lot better and less obvious but i wanna know if there are better shit to use than polysporin. Or is that #1

I have been to so far
Positano -amalfi coast- loved higly recommend
Capri - island off the coast of amalfi - super beatiful - recommend.
Naples- was only there to pick up a car rental seemed dirty and sketchy had no desire to stick around but could have just been the area.
Poggibonsi- middle of tuscany between siena and florence. - kind of a nothing town but a great launching point to see tuscany.
San gimignano - really awesome medieval castle town-15 mins from poggi - worth checking out but super touristy and busy, would be less so in march.

Thats about all we have done so far we have done some awesome dinner but the gf is a writer for a magazine and is able to get us alot of stuff comped for features.

Let me know where you are wanting to go and i would be happy to give you some dos and donts some of our transportation was a nightmare and I definitely learnt some lessons the hard way.
