Just told off the lady that sits in our lobby handing out treats to dogs. I know she means well but the dumb bitch still doesn't seem to understand after the tenth time explaining it to her that she's teaching dogs to disobey their owners by luring them with treats without the owner's consent.

I get it, you like dogs. But when I've told you NO twice today because feeding her treats will make her beg for more instead of eating her dinner, then you sneak her one while I'm waiting for the elevator, chances are I'm going to ask management to do something about it sooner or later.
Not to mention she's one of those ones who encourages the dog to jump up on her thus undermining the work I've done to teach her jumping on people is a bad thing.

Fucking livid. From now on I'm using the service elevator to take the pooch out cuz now she's sitting here, go figure, begging for treats and ignoring her kibble.

Sounds like an issue with the owner not being able to train the dog

She's compromising the training the dogs receiving.

If the dog is poorly trained yes.

Shit like that completely undermines any training I do. She's down there every fucking day for 4 hours, I can't avoid her and she's been aggressive in trying to interact with my dog.

What's the dog gonna do, ignore the nice lady trying to hand her a treat?



The dog is currently IN training. I cannot train her if this woman keeps pulling this shit every single day, and defy you to do any better.

Yes.

You can teach your dog a command like 'off' and the dog will ignore whatever it has it's attention on.

She knows "off." This woman is encouraging her to ignore "off." And she's feeding her treats while doing it which last I checked is how you train dogs.
