Or it's like how I taught my dog that "do you wanna build a snowman" means let's go outside. The cows associate the song with something good that happens when they round up.

Seriously though I can't watch that movie anymore, she freaks out and scratches up my door.

That's called excessive force and they could have caused brain damage by hitting him in the head even though he was protecting himself and they went out of their way to hit the unprotected points..

Guess what else is called excessive force and has five pages worth of discussion here within the last few days..

yeah but once they resist arrest they are allowed to use excessive force to arrest them
they went to rturn him around for cuffs and he swatted the cosp arm away and resisted the entire time

too often are cops blamed for using excessive force if the people dont resist theres no need for it
yet people resist and everybody acts like the cops are supposed do nothing and potentially let the person get away?

personally i think him swatting the cops hand away right there resisting arrest+assault on an officer= fair game
they did the trip take down thing which i believe is learned through training for arresting somebody resisting
he continued to resist on the ground yes the cop punched him and likely didnt need too but at that point its fair game guy shoulda just not resisted

cops arresting you for being a fucktard and dont wanna get beat up or shot? dont resist arrest its pretty fuckin simple

No. Once they resist they're allowed to use proportional force. Excessive means beyond what is acceptable, period. It's in the dictionary, and its meaning depends on context. That is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. Excessive force is never allowed because by dictionary definition, it's TOO MUCH FORCE.

When a person is on the ground in a turtled position and you reposition yourself to continue hitting them in the head even though you have them detained, that is excessive.
