He is good, Its unfair his first role was with the oilers, watched him coach the marlies, gets the whole team pumped shift after shift and very organized play style, Plus I think he was only coach not to take a too many men for a full season.

hes good? the oilers under him .looked like they were playing pond hockey with zero system what so ever
a guy like that wouldnt work we need a vet coach that knows how to handle a team not a shit coach that cant even handle the oilers

specially with our d its gonig to be a lot of young guys not many high end top 4 vets him coaching with our D we would be tanking with the oilers

Eakins is fucking awful. He is timid behind the bench. Doesn't say anything to the players. His systems he uses are not for nhl. Awful awful coach. But I'd lol hard if flyers get him

He's still technically under contract. Leafs are still paying Carlyle aswell

Apparently NHL is looking into having refs wear audio devices so they can talk to each other while play is going on, to prevent stuff like early whistles like the one with Price/Pageau last night.

They do this in soccer I think
