Covids getting out of hand, any chance the league shuts down again?

I doubt nhl wants to shutdown. Vaccine is working, no more severe symptoms just minor ones. Covid is still contagious and will continue to linger in the future. It's just gonna be part of our life. Shutting down the league won't do much, as theyll be back to where they are now even after resuming the season. If they plan on doing it, they need to commit fully and place everyone in a bubble and not allow them to leave their rooms and shit again. Players aren't even gonna agree to that

Omicron is much more mild of a variant yet being more contagious.
