More than twice as many rats as birds. Rats cost slightly more than twice as many to evolve than birds. POS game because it uses arithmetic to make sure you can't just cheap out to level up.

Takes about 10-15 seconds for each evolve. But you can also transfer the evolution for an additional candy. So really, each pidgy only takes 11 candies to evolve. You get 1000XP no matter what pokemon it is, and an additional 1000XP if it's new to you and registers in your pokedex. Always evolve a shitload at once using your lucky egg. Don't waste stardust either. Hold off until you're level 20ish and have a solid team. You're just going to continue to find better pokemon.

Also if you're gonna evolve a shit ton, favorite the ones you plan to evolve then when you go to do it sort by your favorites. Makes it so you don't have to scroll through and try to remember every pokemon you have enough candies to get.

gives me around 180 evolutions over the 30mins
i have about 250 rat candy and i think 200 pigdeys so im very far off lol
oo 214 weedle candy and 60 caterpie candy

i only have like 17 pokeballs left though which friggin blows

Fair enough. Pidgey has 2 evos though. I forget that people run out of pokeballs lol. There are so many stops in the city that it'll be insane if I ever do. Got like 100 pokeballs and 80 great balls right now.

/e 42 poke and 108 great. Just discarded some revives and potions to make room
