Straight pooped on last night.

We weren't playing particularly well of late, had a few lucky wins where our goalies rocked, but I didn't expect that man handling.

Hopefully we come out hot tomorrow or the hawks will rub our noses in it too.

Bouwmeester is really off lately. That guy turns the puck over so much, and he never did that in a blues uni before.

I miss shatty

That first line is the real deal Holyfield.
It's good to have 4 solid lines so that we can keep the great lines together and just let them produce.

Even the Bergy/Stastny/Jaskin line is strong as fuck. Without Shatty we're still creating offense, and we even scored a PPG without him.

god damn jaskin is feeling is right now isnt he? playing with some super confidence.

and i know it sounds stupid, but i think jaskin is helping berglund get better. berglund has been using his body alot better since he came back from his injury.

plus berglund just plays better at wing.

Berglund has been great on the wing, he's made some great passes and plays, especially that off-the-boards pass to himself tonight.
Jaskin's been playing out of his mind with Stastny, so I'm glad that whole line is finally finding a use.

Honestly I hope we don't make any trades before the trade deadline, I hope we just keep this squad and see what happens.

Exactly, as long as Shatty comes back at the level he's at, I really think there's only one player that could -really- solidify this team, and we couldn't get him without paying out the ass.

And that is Dustin Byfuglien. That guy would give us the big powerful D-man we need while not sacrificing offense at all, possibly picking UP a large amount of offense. Buuuut he'd be expensive.

Good to win but we have to stop sucking in 3rd periods. Play so passively every third period with a one goal lead, and that won't work vs playoff teams.

Also we're counting on the shootout too much to win games. Need to start putting em away in the first three.
