Unfortunately unlike hockey there's not really a "one more win" in Tennis. You get old, you slow down, you're done and "experience" or "veteran presence" aren't really a significant thing anymore.
The flipside of that is that there are really only a handful of names at the top of Tennis, and the age gap is such that I guarantee Federer indirectly contributed to how good Raonic is now because there's no way Raonic got where he was without watching and learning from Fed. Dude will likely have influenced the next 10 wimbeldon winners at minimum.
Was a close game though, and I felt against Murray Federer might've stood a chance. Against djoko, probably not.
Personally I felt it was one of the better chances he had at winning another Major - not like it's a guarantee, he's definitely way past his prime but still..
