The taze wasn't in between though. It was at a time after the nine shots and Forcillo wasn't even the one to use the tazer. What makes this ridiculous is that the jury said Forcillo was justified in firing the first three shots but not the last six. Well, why is that attempted murder? The first three shots would have killed Yatim anyway, and we know that when people are scared and anxious, they fire more shots then necessary. Nine shots is instinctual, reactionary. He's not an assassin or commando, or any other stone cold killer. It's just absurd, legally and emotionally, that he was convicted for attempted murder for the reasoning the jury gave. They said it's not murder because he was justified in firing the first three, but is attempted murder for the unjustified last six? That is ridiculous.
