not sure how this works? bitch please i watched the flyers #1 and #2 centers get traded :P
lets just see how FA and resigning works out for them depending on if they keep and what they pay martin and erhoff they could be in a much better or worse situation
all else fails they walk got lots of cap space and half ass the d sign guys for cheap look at flyers we got delzotto schultz who were both pretty solid for us at like 1-1.5m u can get good depth D for cheap

they have some big contracts on the D running out and a bunch of their depth guys this is where its on the gm to get shit going in the right direction

Ever wonder why the last 100 stanley cup winners didn't have 6 depth defensemen though?

becasue their goalie wasnt good enough duh
i mean if they were to let a 4m d go and replace him with a decent 1-2m d thats 2m to spend on a depth forward

lets be serious the real problem is the pens lack of development other then the guys thats are the team now and maata wh othe fuck have they developed?
thier lack of depth is becasue they havnt been able to develop anybody sign FA from europe or undrafted guys ect ect their scouting has to be seriously sucking ass

i mean even philly for an example we got bellmare and raffl read bob as just free agent it literally cost nothing they were free no picks or anything
bellmare is a good 2 way 4th liner raffl was on pace for like 25g read is usually a 20-25 g scorer and there all pretty much good defensively and help a shit ton

Sutter. They haven't had a high pick in years, it's hard to do that. I mean what team has developed phenomenal young stars who were picked at low rounds. It would take elite scouting and an incredible development program to to tha- oh. Wait.

there are few potentially big problems, but doing nothing at all wont fix em.

gotta move a big contract for some depth, or next year wont be any different than the last few.

That's pretty sick how he turned out for a 22 pick,

I wish the nucks had Detroit's level of elite scouting

Really? With mumps, cancer, and a stroke you think the front office was unequivicolly the issue this year? Give them one more season and if it ends up the same I'll agree wholeheartedly but that's pulling the trigger way too quickly imo.

yeah we had some issues with injury.

but you don't go from being 2nd in the east, to barely making playoffs if there isn't a coaching issue.

bylsma should have never been let go.

johnston is no where near as good of a coach.
