Player for player may seem like a bad trade (maybe, like you said time will tell) but we didn't lose much in the end as we got Sekac as a UFA this summer and he could have walked after his 2 year contract. We are getting DPS who is the same age, and as a RFA so we get him for longer.

No he couldn't have. He would have been an RFA. He's the same age as DSP too, only born four days apart.

sekac was RFA as well.

DSP isn't going to be on the third line.

There might be more trades to come, who knows

Chucky experiment of 0 games on RW probably over since Sekac traded and DSP a RWer and Parenteau injury healed. Would not shock me to see DSP with Patches and DD since Therrien always trying new ways to get DD to produce.

I've figured it out. We acquired DSP cause Frenchie name. That means we trading one of Bournival, Parenteau or DD. Had to fool media into thinking we have French players with DSP and DLR.
