Toronto police force passed a changes report:

Letting go 4.5k officers through attrition
amalgamating several divisions
eliminating certain task forces
no promotions or raises or hires for 3 years

transferring traffic control and most likely other call they believe they shouldn't be answering to the city workers
eliminating toronto transit police presence in subways

very strange when our crime rate is up on all ends. not a couple months ago Union station was cleared out due to a bomb threat.

they way it was presented by the police service through the media seemed like they were advertising where they weren't going to be anymore which I felt was a little dangerous.

I'll be keeping a close eye on our incident reports to see if the areas I believe to be most effected by this increases in crime rate. Im sure it will.

Anyways TPS has gotten really bloated recently. This will help bring the budget in line, hopefully without any drop in performance.

My friends say they tip when they pick up a pizza. I have never heard of that. Hot n ready does not count they said though.

I tip 20% or more at restaurants but I don't tip when I pick up Coney island to go. I often wonder if they hate me bc I don't tip at Coney take out. I go ... a lot haha. I figure it's ok because I basically keep the lights on there
