Hextall to announce their decision on Berube today. Speculation that McLellan and Wilson will announce a (truthful) mutual decision to part ways.

I don't see how Berube doesn't get fired. Nobody wants him there.

San Jose needs to clean house when it comes to coaching/management IMO. Time to refresh.

Yeah, after Lecav's comments and the fact that people are pissed about how Couturier was buried in the bottom 6 all season, it seems like Berube really doesn't understand the players on his own team.

Mason had a lot of issues with him too.

DW needs to go, i dont think McLellan needs to go

As well as sending out 4th line after a commercial break instead of givih Giroux and Voracek a shot at the Art Ross (like Benn got)

And yea I think thats why Reese quit

he misused what he did have
i think part of couts being on the "3rd" is becasue of read being hurt most of the season didnt wanna split them up but the offense just wasnt there
what i dont get is vinny clearly cant play wing as good as center and he buried him on the 4th as a winger when the guys he did put at 4c could play wing better then vinny
he took vinnyo ff the 1st pp unit form last season which is good it was to put voracek on but then just completely took him off the pp...why? put him on 2nd unit atleast



lol everybody had issues with him if flyers keep him i think half the team wants out
sucks you like to have former team players come in as a coach and do good but at this point it seems only option is to let him go and start fresh with a vet coach that knows how to handle this team

He sais that the fact couts wasnt getting offensive start and had mostly defensive start (vs opposing best lines) wasnt a reason for him not to produce

Couts was looking pretty good at the end of the year qith read healthy and schenn as RW

yeah i was impressed the move from lw to rw did for schenn at the end of the season lol too bad berube was trying to force him on lw with g+v all season
that could be a solid 2nd line read-couts-schenn put up decent #s and good shutdown with couts n read and maybe rock simmonds-g+v line as the #1
i feel simmonds on the 3rd would be unfair to him but he would prob still get pp time and raffl works pretty good with g+v

if schenn can play rw better then lw then that helps so much still doesnt help the lw void but it helps the bazillion centers problem
