Regarding reports Bobby Ryan turned down 7 x $7M from OTT, my understanding is not only did Ryan NOT turn it down, it was never offered.

OTT did present multiple proposals - from 2 to 7 yrs - to Ryan but Ryan's reps didn't reject anything. Said they would re-visit talks later.

As OTT GM Bryan Murray said in tsn.ca interview, Ryan wants to wait to see how season unfolds for him and team before negotiating numbers.

I trust McKenzie more than anyone else when it comes to those things

e/ : Well the 7 years offer is nothing new though. Murray himself (iirc) said that they offered Ryan both long and short term extension.

Lazar has to make this team. The kid is a beauty, smooooth. Throw him in as wing over a plug like Condra and let him take the middle when Legwand leaves

He could honestly take Zibby's spot, but I want to see what Zibby can do with lots of ice time

I would honestly throw Lazar and Stone on the 3rd line with Legwand, it would really help their development playing with a vet like him.

I have been saying it for like 6 months. He SHOULD have gotten his 9 games last year but got injured during camp
