they have a cup in recent years. Flyers not so much.

They are also ways ahead of the flyers in term of skill.

I wouldn't expect you to acknowledge what I'm saying since you're that much of a homer.

Flyers have fewer cups though and no presidents trophies in a longer time span than all non o6 teams. Just because they're one the oldest non o6 expansion team with the highest winning percentage doesn't mean they're the best expansion team period.

Did you read my post before responding? Regular and post season success does not instantly mean they're the most successful especially since they don't have the most cups of expansion teams when that's the most important statistic of all period

they have 2 cups compared to 3. been in finals twice as many times.

made playoffs 8 more times. won a whopping 7.8% more games during the regular season.

the only case you can make is that flyers have 1 cup less, while pittsburgh being inferior in EVERY other aspect. they almost folded lol...

if we go by cups, i'll just say "habs ainec" and we'll never discuss what team is best because habs is just the ainec answer

Also that list you keep posting is franchises, not teams - which we are currently talking abo ut. Not trying to brag about my team, but if you take just the devils statistics and remove the previous two teams earlier in its franchise history, their winning percentage may even be better (certainly better than it is including the whole franchise). Same goes with a handful of other teams.

this is the problem with relocated teams. imagine if avalanche was a expansion team and not a relocated one.

expansion teams are WAY worse than relocated ones. you cant exclude your previous history, sorry.

They're different teams though? That makes no sense. Habs are the best team in the history of NHL ainec - maybe not so much as of late, but unless some other team wins 1/2 cups in the next 20-30 years, Habs are still the best. BUT we are talking about non o6 TEAMS, not all NHL teams and franchises in the history of the sport.
