Argh it's dumb how a place with lots to do can suddenly have nothing to do when you're alone. I drove my girlfriend to Durham side of Toronot instead of her driving herself because I thought I was going to catch up with someone I hadn't seen in awhile but they had a work emergency and cancelled <_<

And everything to kill time I can think of I wouldn't want to do alone. Driving home 150 kilometres only to have to come back a few hours later seems counter productive.

ya most things are pretty boring alone ... lol
i dont think ive ever seen a movie by myself

If I knew I'd be alone I would have took my four year old to the zoo and just left her little brother at the babysitters but yeah...nothing's fun alone. I'd rather never see a movie again then go alone.

And what guy shops on their own if they aren't looking for a specific thing lol.

I can't think of any movie theatre open this early lol. I have to kill time till mid-afternoon. But I wouldn't go to a movie alone anyway lol.

woah you guys are acting like you've never watched a flick at home by yourself. whats the difference really?

I can't say I've personally gone to the movies alone... but I mean if I had to kill hour(s) in a city that isn't mine.... I wouldn't believe myself to be utterly too cool for that.

but then again, we go to the drive-in. that shit is straight baller.

I'm not sure how to articulate why it's different but it's just awkward. And feels like everyone is judging lol.

Lol there's a couple beaches in Oshawa and Ajax but it's fucking cold today. And generally there's shit all to do in Durham. It's East Toronto but East Toronto is mostly a mix of really nice but really boring suburbs and absolutely white trash suburbs lol.

Thinking about going for a drive into Downtown but I've got the Cayman and its stick and sitting in wall to wall traffic in a stick doesn't sound like very much fun to me.

Oh well. I've done more boring things.

Don't be so vain... vanity should be the last thing you're worried about when being a middle aged man watching x-men alone in theaters.

Just sit on the confidence that you have a smoking hot wifey expecting you to be waiting for her.

Hey I'm not middle aged. Not even close to as old as Jay <_<

It's not so much vanity...but I associate being judge with appearing weak. Regardless of whether that's ridiculous or not I avoid situations where I can't anticipate being in a position of strength.

E: Ah it's not even confidence it's just an anxiety of being in those types of situations.

I don't mind it once and awhile but that's usually when I have to go there for business or whatever. I shouldn't have brought the Cayman but I haven't put very many kilometres since I got it a year ago so it needed a bit of a drive.

I do work out but I'm dressed business casual and don't have any workout clothes let alone proper shoes. Should keep a bag in my car though in the future.

Alright I got a better idea.. walk around downtown and when you see a beggar approach him quickly and point in a random direction asking if that's his car being broken into... if he looks for his car, shame him for being a pos.
