As per Bob McKenzie, he strongly believes this is Sharp's last season in Chicago.
Potential buyers? His value dropped a lot from last season to this one, imo

Apparently Nashville ownership blocked a trade between Philly and Nashville for lecavalier before the season started when fisher was out for 7 months.

I wonder if they blocked it because it would have been a terrible trade, or if they refuse to deal with Philly after Philly tried to poach Weber with a predatory (no pun) offer sheet.

If they blocked it 'cause it was a terrible trade then they might as well fire Poile.

I'm assuming it had more to do with them not wanting to pay Lecavalier's salary 'cause the trade didn't involve Philly taking much money back.

Yeah, Poile then signed ribero, Roy and jokinen for 1m each.

And got rid of Roy and jokinen halfway through the season, so waaaay cheaper with nothing long term

Plus ribero has been nuts this season.

BOS is believed to be front runner amongst teams interested in Miami (Ohio) UFA Austin Czarnik. Deal not done yet, tho.

its hard to say about vinny guys got the the hands and everything he did before hes just a bit slower and needs to play center
hes really bad at wing n doesnt get much of a chance in philly center is our most common position so he got bumped down to a 4th line winger
vinny was producing good as a 4th line center why the fuck berube forces him to wing ill never know but hes the same guy that palys rinaldo over him... vinny must be in his dog house or something
he hasnt looked that bad even 4th line wing if he had better line mates i think he would easily have more points guy creates offense for his linemates but they never cash

its like the year giroux was our 3c palying with arron asham and shit ... was just frustrating to watch the offense get created just to get fucked up by a crap player
