He's the only guy who continually stood up to Harper. Even Trudeau just kept his head down and waited for his turn to run, lest he get negative press. Mulcair deserved a better fate. No he's not perfect, but better than most. I would have voted for him last time if I didn't live in the conservative mecca of Canada, and have to vote strategically. RIP.
