Honestly that's by far the worst contract of the entire off-season.

Oh philly. Enjoy that contract.
I don't know how he demands so much money.
I guess he's got the capability to play defense so he's not costing you goals and hes more than willing to get a little dirty in the corners but my non-gm-brain doesn't care.

Sammy has no move clause and I highly doubt he will waive it because it wouldn't mean more money necessarily.
He's gotta go though too.

4:1 philly doesn't keep him for the entirety of his contract as per classic philly

Dan cleary is a competitor. You might not like the price but you will notice that he's willing to give everything he's got.
His time was up in detroit and I am pleased :)

He'll be a benefit while he's there, the term is just stupid. His knee takes him into retirement after 2 years probably. He's no Yzerman, not gonna play for 20 years on shredded knees.
Gill probably just lost his shot though, they've got the veteran with cup experience now.

He'll crack bottom 6 and do fine there. The biggest issue IMO is now they are WAY over the cap. The only way they can ice a team is if they put Schenn and couts/laughton in the ahl until Pronger can be put on LTIR, which again I will argue is 100% cap circumvention and should be punished if it happens.
