Apparently the enclosures were up to standards/code, so it's not the zoo's fault.
I know a lot of people will blame the parents but really a kid shouldn't be able to drop into any exhibit with dangerous animals.
something like this hasn't happened in 38 years at this particular zoo.
this zoo has millions of people per year which visit.
45~mill estimated visitors in that time. with NO ONE falling into enclosers.
that being said, how can one 4 year old kid, get that high up climbing/crawling away from his mother before she notices? even AFTER witnesses have come forth and said they heard the 4 year old kid say "I'm going to play with the gorillas" TWICE.
All cause the mothers attention was diverted to something else at that particular time.....come on.
theres a bridge across an ocean, and you happen to fall in cause you were playing.
is that the bridges/oceans/governments fault? cause you or whoever was supposed to be legally taking care of you were negligent in their duties?
