Kylington takes a year off for his mental health at the worst time, Flames support him and allow it, and then he takes even more time. Kylington plays well last year and then turns UFA, and the Flames want to lock him up. Kylington says after everything he is going to test the market - Flames disappointed and sign Bean to take his spot. Kylington gets no offers, and circles back and wants a Flames contract, Flames say nah. Hard to say if it’s him or his agent, but he fumbled his way out of the league.
