idk the move itself wasn't "bad" per se but I'm sick of players getting cheap shots in when others are in vulnerable positions. like punching someone who's not in your field of view or cross checking someone on their knees. in this case Pavelski was already out of balance and he had absolutely no way to control his fall thanks to the shitty cross check to prevent an injury

Definitely deserved two mins with a 3-0 game. If it was tied and whistles had been away all game then it doesn’t even get called.

these cheapshots don't often result in immediate injury, more like the accumulation thereof leads to bruised joints or broken bones. but in this case it did which is why the refs called based on the gravity of the injury. might be inconsistent reffing because if Pavelski got up and skated away it's probably not even called at all but it's something that should be called
