Meh, Cap is gonna go way up. Snagging guys for cheap now is gonna be amazing in the future, its gonna rise at least 5 mil every year if projected properly.

5 percent growth. Ends up being about 4-5 per year after 3-4 years. This year they made 70ish percent of '11-12 playing 58 percent of the games.

now im no math genius, but isn't it pretty much going to take a bunch of years before it's 5? since 5% of 100 is 5, and its a fair bit left there

difference between 4 and 5 is huge

Cumulative interest. It cranks up pretty fast, plus this years numbers suggest 5% is understated. The NHLPA also has the option to apply a 5% inflator on top of that 5% so cap growth actually ends up being a bit more than what revenue growth is.

yes, but if its 5% now, that's like, what. 3.6? or some shit

the step between 3.6 and 5 is major, and saying it's going to grow 5 mil every year suggests that there'll be a possibility to add a top6 forward every year .)
