My friend bought a car today and I wanted to drive it so he says sure. It's stick, but I learnt to drive to on stick, so even if I haven't driven one in a few years I think I'll remember how easily, supposed to be like riding a bike, you never forget.

Guess I was a little wrong. I drove it like an Asian kid just learning how to drive, stalled on the highway, almost got whacked by a F350. Friend is screaming and yelling. Opps.

LOL.
Man, I was lucky learning how to do manual but I'd probably suck at it now. The first time my brother drove manual he dropped the transmission on his friend's truck...

I'm so glad I decided to buy a stick. I didn't know how to drive it when I bought it. Love driving it now.

Yeah, my next car might end up being manual so I can save some money on the automatic and spend it on features instead. We'll see what my income's at, might get both  Honestly I've put maybe 3-4000 miles on my car in my 2.5 years living in the DC area lol, doesn't seem worth it to get something new.

I think it's just of you get used to something and it takes a little to remember. After I stalled it clicked what I had to do and I got it again. Just I almost totalled some Mazda he paid $20,000 for a couple hours before.

Oh definitely. "like riding a bike" is BS, you can still kinda ride the bike but you're not as comfortable. That's how I am with bowling, every time I join a league I start out at like a 170 average then work my way back up to 210. Same thing goes with manual, you're kinda shaky at first then you get it. Just gotta ease back into it.

Pretty much.

I drove standard 1 time before my car.

I literally stalled it at least once to and from work everyday for a week.

Haven't stalled since then though.

I wouldn't buy a stick car just because most stick cars around here are either powerful hatchbacks (Like a GTI), or baseline models of other cars. The car I bought (VW CC) I think comes in stick, but it's only the baseline model, and I didn't want that.

Ugh.

Hatchbacks are the ugliest pieces of shit to ever exist.
