Soooooooooo looking back at when we made it to the 2nd round 2 years ago, our roster was :

Michalek - Turris - Alfredsson
Latendresse - Zibanejad - Silfverberg
Conacher - Pageau - Condra
Greening - Smith - Neil

Methot - Karlsson
Cowen - Gonchar
Phillips - Gryba

Now we have something like :

MacArthur - Turris - Ryan
Michalek - Zibanejad - Chiasson
Hoffman - Pageau/Lazar - Stone
Greening - Smith - Neil

Methot - Karlsson
Cowen - Ceci
Phillips - Wiercioch/Gryba

Is our lineup really worse than it was 2 years ago ? I really don't know, I could see us making the playoffs as a 7th or 8th seed.. or I could see us challenging for McDavid.. Neither would really suprise me.



That's good news, I was curious to see how they would do compared to our other prospects !!

probably finsih between 8-12th in the conference

prince could be up or puempel, depending on how things go.

Don't think either are ready to start the season.. MAYBE Puempel will get a regular spot at some point during the season.

pretty happy with the legwand signing

yeah he's old but still a pretty good two way centre, hopefully he can be some sort of a mentor for the young guys

A veteran who can still put up points, we got him cheap and only 2 years, it's perfect. Exactly what we need to develop Lazar and Zibanejad

I talked to a couple of them. I talked to Fish (Mike Fisher) this afternoon and he's happy that I chose Ottawa and then I talked to my old teammate Jason York who does some of that (media) stuff up there with you guys. They're all excited for me and I'm excited to be there.
