so now when i reinstalled windows, my microphone is very faint. like it doesnt detect my voice at all unless i literally put it in my mouth lol.


anyone know what do?

Weird. My buddy got a job last year because Alaska (or at least the district he's in) was mass hiring teachers. I'd do that in a heartbeat.

The mic works but I had to turn up the decibels to max

I think it's decibels lol. Idk

They can't get teachers to stay

If your using realtek of any sort check within its program to see if your mic is turned down.
Sometimes the program that controls your mic output and input can have it turned down.

If not just wipe the driver clean and grab the newest one available and put a fresh install in.
Usually that fixes it.

change the settings in properties
i also had same problem n had to boost mine max windows settings +30 dbs

i found setting it to studio quality helps too although tons of peopel on cs say i sound like the guy from deadpool and silicon valley
i even had 1 guy record me and had another constantly try to make me say aviato haha

ive never had anybody say that irl though so i figure it must be something with the mic haha
