Oh for sure, but you're still gonna need to work with people and know what drives their interest. The business background really helps with that.
And it goes both ways, if you're trying to sell something to someone, getting super technical doesn't do jack shit. You could put yourself out there as a self-employed contractor eventually, communication is key.
