A misunderstanding of the demographics of people who vote in Republican primaries. The Republican primaries are decided by an unrepresentative sample size, who just so happen to be very receptive to populists in 2016. To win the general election, you need to get all those people who voted for you to come out, those who voted against you, those who voted for nobody, and then the swing voters. Trump won't get that.

You're ignoring facts. The primaries are so different from the general. In the primaries he could win without minorities or women but in the general he can't. He has zero chance of winning.
