that's a lot of money for an 82nd pick with about a season and a half of experience (117 gp). Will probably be well worth it the latter years of the deal, but I really hope he continues to play at and above the level of the previous 2 seasons.

4 mil a year is not a lot for one of your best players, and one of your only good players under 30

Henrique didn't play at a level even close to 4 mil last year. He's being overpaid for his rookie season where he got to play with Parise and Kovalchuk. Also the fact that New Jersey have almost no good young talent.
